As part of ongoing efforts for growth and rebranding, the Business Development Corp. of the Northern Panhandle has unveiled a new logo, designed by graphic design students at West Liberty University. The logo, featuring red, gray and white circles with a series of buildings, was designed by students Aleece Abel of Martinsburg, Jenny Ball of Woodsfield, Ohio, and Alyssa Culp of East Liverpool. The students’ work is part of an annual outreach to area non-profits offering design work at no cost. In appreciation of their work, the BDC has contributed $1,000 to the West Liberty Foundation, for use by the graphic design program.
